Main areas of work are:

• Developing and maintaining strategies that enable GIG to communicate effectively with our members / scientific community / politicians / the media and the general public.
• Project Management responsibilities for Project Officers (Insurance Project, Facilitating Networks Project and the Scottish Patient Engagement Project.
• Responsible for producing and editing all GIG reports and publications. This includes our quarterly newsletter "GIG TODAY"
• Content management of the GIG website
• Responsible for organising GIG events including the Annual GIG conference.
• Member of the Clinical Genetics Society, Clinical Governance Subcommittee.
