Current Policy Campaigns

The EU Commission has proposed to strengthen the protection of animals used in scientific research.  Further information can be found on the Commission website for Animals.  A summary press release can also be found here.

The Genetic Interest Group is currently working on a campaign strategy around this proposal, to ensure that the patient voice is heard and feed into the political debate that is taking place.  More information will be appearing on these pages.
